There’s Stir Fry Noodles to Wrap Up a Long Day

BY Nancy Janiola IN , 15 comments

From my daily workout routine, I jumped off doing a mega cleaning activity this afternoon that lasted me until around eight in the evening tonight. Getting rid of unnecessary clutters (old bills notices, receipts, unused broken toys and other junks) from last year took longer than I realized – made me starve a little bit since I didn’t want to leave my cleaning undone.

I took a quick shower after and immediately I scouted in my fridge for something that’s easy to prepare. In few minutes my late dinner is ready… WHEW!

Noodle recipe (pancit as we locally call it) is a popular part of my special meal plan. In fact, I love experimenting - turning ordinary instant noodles into a special one. Check out my recipes at Nancy’s Kitchen.

Earlier today while doing grocery shopping, I came across with this individually packed fresh Japanese Ramen (not our local store’s usual product), thought it might make a good stir fry noodle recipe so I grabbed few packs. A pack of 250 grams when mixed with good amounts of veggies (beans, carrots, cauliflower and stripped cabbage) plus meat and squid balls could actually make 3-4 servings.

Late dinner! I had to knock on mom’s door and wake my sister who had just then started sleeping to share my dinner with them. Both already have had theirs earlier but knowing them I knew they won’t say no to noodles as well especially when paired with some toasts. The kids would have loved it too but we chose to just let them sleep instead.

Noodles is not just an ordinary part of my meal plan, but rather a vital carbohydrate alternative for me since the dawn of my no-rice diet plan. Being my all-time favorite, it is something I can’t get over with for a lifetime!

Noodles is something convenietly cooked fast. I think rice is more healthier than noodles. Noodles is instant or let say processed food. You can used brown rice for healthy options. You can eat rice every meal but in small portion. Make sure you know what type of noodles you are using for your healthy meal plan. All the best!
