I have been missing this and thanks to my little sister for preparing it for our breakfast earlier. Yes, ours – me and her because none in the family but the both of us are into salads like this. The only salad they know especially the kids are the sweetened ones.

Unlike any other types of salad, the ingredients used to season this one are no complex but are rather frequently available in anyone’s kitchen – white vinegar, salt and pepper. That’s it!

It was following the realization that I need to lose weight in order to feel good again when I started appreciating raw vegetable salad. That was over 10 years ago after I became a mother for the first time.

They say with healthy food comes the ugly taste. I find it true at first but I am grateful none of the “getting used to it” part had given the idea to trash it all the way. Eventually, I still managed to adapt to its taste which is really a good thing, I must say. Since then I make it a habit of including raw vegetable salad in to my weekly meal plan.

Trust me, salads like this would make a healthy snack too instead of feasting on junks… (Oops!! I’m not saying I don’t… but that was before.) ;)

And finally, when coupled with a regular exercise, this along with other healthy recipes would no doubt help you meet your goal in no time.
