If you’re on a serious weight loss program like me, you might also have notice how your tummy looks leaner in the morning compared to how it is during the rest of the day.
Since I engaged myself on dieting, I was able to adapt this habit of checking myself on the mirror first thing in the morning. When I say first thing, it literally means the first thing that I do each morning – not washing my face, not gargling, not peeing but checking on my tummy and that is how I notice it.
So why do we look slimmer in the morning? That question had me bothered so I helped myself with Google. How else do we find out answers to some of our questions, right?
Surprisingly, the answer is very self explanatory. We don’t get to eat anything all night while we sleep. Our body processes the food and drinks that we consumed from the day before in a form of digestion. They are broken down through respiration, perspiration and urination and that’s what makes our stomach considered empty when we wake up in the morning.
It actually feels great because it’s as if my workout is paying off although I know it’s only short-lived. Still the sensible approach to keeping that defined look is by eating well-proportioned healthy meals, getting fair amount of physical activities and good sleep.

Cool sis Nancy! As a mom of a one-year old, I can really relate to that exercise thing. Ah, not that much of gym, or a literal exercise but a mommy exercise, I meant. I always say, doing household chores, nanny-ing (wink ;-) ) and other alike is also exercise but I know what you are saying. :-) Thanks for sharing the info!

Ka relate jud ko ay..may gani ka ga exercise ako was jud, ga butod ra akong tiyan haha...We are the same I have a flat stomach in the morning then when I started eating it started look bigger as usual, di nlng ta mangaon ani haha..I seriously need exercise..
Hahaha! You and me, Nance both do the same routine in the morning then! Well, I pee first, but after washing my hands, since the mirror is just in front of me, looking at the tummy is next! And guess what, I love looking at my tummy in the morning when it's all empty! :D Feel kaayo nga namayat na ba bisan walay gibuhat. Hahaha. Indeed, it's true than when you take pictures of yourself and want to hide your bulging tummy, it's best to do it in the morning when its still empty! :D

I agree...the right time to take pictures of yourself is right after you get off in bed..
i used to do that 8 years ago lol, since i got pregnant and have kids i dont even want to see my belly anymore, not only do i have extra spare tire but i do also have unpleasant stretch-marks :(
yay! Sis Nancy happy to know that your diet works great for you and your body :-) I also like my tummy in the morning, free of fats :-)
I am doing some workout this time and my aim is to really reduce the belly fat that I have :-)
one thing made me think on your suggestion, agreeing to do exercise in the mornings before taking a bath :D
yep thats right! our body is working at night while we sleep. amazing huh? i learned that from hubby. thats why diet before 6 is effective. =)
That's good. get back in exercise is pretty much good it make our body movement and stritch do it every morning is nice. mine have a belly fats. :)

yes, the best thing to take picture with bikini is early morning right after bed, haha. I felt the sane way too. Looks like i've lost weight but then put it on back after breakfast, haha. Short pleasure as say. Exactly as you said, good balanced-diet and exercise to get a healthy lifestyle.
